Ninjas vs. Zombies
Ninjas vs. Zombies

A surprisingly well-done B film, full of humor, zombies and ninjas.  What more can you ask for?

I have to admit, I thought this was going to be more of a "serious" film, but when the opening song kicked in at the title screen I realized I had to change my frame of mind.  It was a good song, dont' get me wrong, but made me think The Barenaked Ladies were singing it.  But it really set the tone for this film, which was a lot more fun, quirky and entertaining than I had thought.

Upset about the death of his brother, a comic book store owner uses an old family spellbook to resurrect him.  This turns his brother, Eric, into a super-zombie of sorts, which sucks the souls of people and turns them into new zombies.  A group of friends who for the most part can't catch a break in life are at the center of this mess, as one of them is dating Eric's old girlfriend and he wants her back.

This group of guys gets bestowed with ninja powers, and are our only hope in fighting the zombie hordes.  What follows is an epic battle, and I must say some amazing effects and action scenes for a B-style horror movie.  You're sure to laugh, you're sure to groan, but most of all you're sure to enjoy this movie.  Kudos to all of those involved, and here's to hoping the saga continues with this group of lovable heros.
